For the second time in a row, XENON has taken the opportunity to provide financial support for high-achieving students through Germany's "Deutschlandstipendium" scholarship program. The 2017/2018 scholarship has been awarded to a student of electrical engineering at Dresden University of Applied Sciences. XENON's contribution marks a continuation of the company's successful partnerships with local institutions of higher learning, and the close cooperation with students through internships, dissertations and master theses has paid off. On the one hand, students are given challenging tasks in the field of automated manufacturing and the assembly of innovative mechatronic products, as well as the chance to familiarize themselves with the work environment. On the other hand, XENON places great value on recruiting the next generation of specialists. In 2017 alone the company has brought on 40 new hires to-date, the majority of whom are college graduates.
By promoting student advancement through Germany's federal scholarship program, XENON aims to harness new synergies between participants and the Company.
